Joker Developments are a small group of people who are dedicated to the Amiga computer. We enjoy programming it, and we do what we do, not for money, but for fun. Of course, if some people who like our products want to send us money, we won't refuse it, but it is optional for almost all of our products.
JokerD was formed in 1995, about a year and a half after the founder, Gaz, received his first Amiga, the (at the time) brand-spanking new A1200.
Gaz had previously enjoyed BASIC programming on the ZX Spectrum, and found the unique power of the Amiga hardware incredible. He now writes games and utilities in most of his spare time, only stopping to do his homework.
Before JokerD, Gaz set up many more 'groups' which failed, because Gaz did not have the motivation to continue with them. One of these was the rather ironically named Immortal Software.
Gaz has expanded his Amiga quite a lot over the years, and now has a pretty beefy system. It certainly comes in handy when compiling large sources ;)
Read the Members page for more information on the currently enlisted members of JokerD.
